Fraud Statement

BE VIGILANT…

Please be vigilant to fraudulent activity at all times

Fraud is a growing trend involving false products and job listings, fraudulent communications purporting to be from companies like the Swiss Trade Desk to sell something that does not exist, and the obtaining of money and corporate and personal data.

This type of fraud mainly occurs through online services, including fake websites, social media accounts, online recruitment sites, or unsolicited emails claiming to be from our Swiss Trade Desk or Swiss Unlimited Group. Company employee names and logos are often used to convey authenticity.

Legitimate information can only be found on our website with the Swiss domain name extension “.ch”: https://swisstradedesk.ch and our official Social Media accounts:
https://www.linkedin.com/company/swiss-trade-desk
https://twitter.com/swisstradedesk

Please be vigilant to fraudulent activity at all times, and if you are unsure whether a communication that you have received is authentic, please review the guidance below or call our office at +41 415 605 005

Swiss Trade Desk only send emails through its domain name and never from generic emails. We will never use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or any other non-official email account to communicate with our clients or career applicants.

We only use @swisstradedesk.ch or @swissunlimitedgroup.ch.

Please keep in mind fraudsters posing as Swiss Trade Desk employees to obtain your data. by email and by phone, for example, to trigger payments for a confidential transaction. Neither the Swiss Trade Desk nor its representatives will ever ask for payment for ‘visa fees’, ‘taxes’, ‘accommodation’, ‘background checks’, or ‘travel expenses’.

Also, we have been made aware of the “CEO fraud scam”. This is another fraudulent scheme in which the scammers impersonate Swiss Trade Desk executives’ identities and their email addresses to secure an unlawful gain. If you or someone you know has been targeted by such an attempt at fraud, we would be particularly grateful if you could inform us immediately.

Please visit the National Cyber Security Centre’s website for more information on the “CEO fraud scam” and up-to-date information on malware and phishing emails, dangers on the Internet, and how you can protect yourself.
